Choose from a number or scenic walks with views, ideal for guests looking for pet-friendly accommodation. Have a keg of ale delivered to your venue before you arrive, try target sports on-site or head to an activity centre or the Alton Towers. Your options are limitless.
On-site Activities
Toft Estate offers a wide range of on-site activities. If you’re here for a wedding reception, birthday party or a team building, welcome a caterer to arrange a delicious multi-course meal for you and your guests (ie . Petitjeans Catering, Thornbirds Hospitality, or Food by Anthony).
For in-house activities, you can indulge in a spa treatment, wine, gin or whiskey tasting, cocktail or chocolate making. On a warm day, head outside and try archery or laser clay shooting, an escape event, body zorb football or a treasure hunt.
Many guests have recommended to us a company called My Event Concierge who help to organise various caterers or activities such as target sports like clay pigeon shooting, archery, and axe throwing, or other options like bringing on spa treatment therapist, chocolate and cocktail making, live drawing, dance and yoga classes and much more. For more information, contact My Event Concierge. We also have a private field you can use for any activities you organise, but please warn us so we can have it cut.
Don’t forget that all of our Peak District venues come with BBQs, making it a perfect afternoon with the ones you love.
Off-site Activities
Did you know that Peak District was UK’s first national park? You’ll see why as soon as you arrive to this area of natural beauty. Just 10-minutes from Toft Estate you’ll find the spectacular Roaches Rocks which will provide you with a breathtaking view of the Peak District (here we also have another venue called Roaches Hall for 30 guests, perfect for extra guests). The valley glistens the Tittesworth Reservoir; here you can pay a visit to its Tittesworth Reservoir Activity Centre, a great idea for those who enjoy watersports.
Just a 4-minute drive or 25-minute walk from Toft Estate is Madrenalin Activity Centre, perfect for target sports. If you’re looking for some motorsports, target sports and more, visit HDK Events.
If you’re looking forward to the beautiful scenery and enjoy a bit of mysticism, visit Lud’s Church or Kinver Edge for some unique landscapes. Another great option is to take the 3-hour circular path on a hill tracing back to the Bronze Age called Mam Tor.
