Welcome to Toft Estate
The Toft Estate is a breathtaking countryside venue in the Peak District ideal for anything from a relaxing getaway with your loved ones to a big wedding party. Surrounded by flower beds, fields and gardens, find yourself in an exclusive-use peaceful estate with charming views of the Chesire plains. Centred around the impressive Toft Hall; a 400 year old grade II listed manor house, this Estate also comes with two barn conversions, and a small cottage.
This large group rental near Manchester is situated in Staffordshire and comes with impressive historic characteristics while providing you with all the facilities you would require to be comfortable in the 21st century. Sleeping 46-48 guests in 23 generously proportioned bedrooms, the Toft Estate makes a fantastic venue for large groups.
Toft Estate Accommodation
This Peak District venue does not come with a wedding licence, but there are a number of local churches and offices where you could have your wedding ceremony and use the Toft Estate to bring all your loved ones together for the reception. Although the estate sleeps up to 48 guests, you can bring in extra day guests at an additional cost. There is also a large garden to host a marquee.
There are 2 x five person hot tubs at the Toft Estate, 1x at Toft Hall, and 1 x at Chels Barn.
The Toft Estate is made up of 4 individual properties surrounding a courtyard. Some of these can also be hired separately, making Toft Estate a venue perfect for big celebrations as well as smaller intimate affairs. These properties include – Toft Hall for 20 guests, Chels Barn for 12 guests, Toft Barn for 12 guests, and Toft Nook for 2-4 guests.
Please note: If there is a guest staying the night before, the time to drain, re-fill and re-heat means it will take some extra hours after your arrival time that it is fully heated. The weather also has a large impact on this. This could be up to 23:00 at night on check in day. The maximum temperature the hot tub reaches is 38 degrees and will automatically stay at this level once reached (we/ you will not be able to change from this temperature). Unfortunately we can not control the time it takes to heat up to speed this up. We are afraid that also children under 5 years old are not allowed in the hot tub.
Toft Hall
Built in 1590 and once the home of the High Sheriff of Staffordshire, this Grade II listed house can comfortably accommodate 20 guests. It’s quirky features and historic character will surely impress your guests. This includes wattle and daub and exposed beams.

Toft Barn
Sleeping 12 guests, this converted barn is a mixture of both old and new. With large exposed beams on display, along with recent additions, such as a new living room with Chesterfield sofas and a 50 inch smart TV, and a new open-plan kitchen and dining room. This part of the estate is also perfect for summer BBQs as it comes with stunning views of the Chesire plains.

Chels Barn
Sleeping 12 guests, this delightful barn conversion has a number of lovely features, such as magnificent high ceilings and a living room complemented with a chandelier and wooden beams. Furthermore, this property comes with flooring made up of oak, stone or travertine including underfloor heating to keep you toasty through winter. Each door in this property is made up of oak and comes with breathtaking views of the Peak District countryside.

Toft Nook
Toft Nook is a detached stone barn perfect for an extra 2-4 guests. It can be added to all the other properties as an extra, and provides guests with a private double bedroom and bathroom with ground floor access. It features high ceilings as well as underfloor heating, and an open plan kitchenette with a sofa bed.
This house comes with:

- TV and DVD player
- Kitchen featuring a hob, sink, kettle, cooker, and fridge
Entertainment, Activities & Extras
Each of these properties come with bed linens (except for cot linen), towels, central heating, electricity, and logs included in the price. Furthermore, you will be delighted to know that Toft Estate is a pet-friendly accommodation so you can bring your dogs or cats with you (please note we charge £30 per dog).
There is also plenty of entertainment in the area including wonderful walks, hikes, and cycling routes with stunning viewpoints. All of the venues come with a BBQ and an option to add a hot tub to your stay. The green countryside will also serve as a magical backdrop for photos. The Toft Estate will give you the chance to host a memorable celebration or spend quality time with your loved ones on a refreshing getaway.
To make your stay more adventurous, on-site activities can also be arranged such as archery, axe throwing, murder mystery, and cocktail making. You can even bring in your own private chef, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy a stunning meal.
