Twelve friends occupied both Toft and Chells Barns for a five day quilting retreat.  We prepared and ate meals in Toft and sewed in Chells.  Everything we needed was available and we were delighted to note that big tables had been put out for us and supplied with extension cables for our sewing machines. My room was beautifully presented and the bed was very comfortable.  We visited both Style Mill and Quarry Bank and also Macclesfield Silk Museum - both ideal locations for anyone interested in textiles. A group of 12 ladies together for a week quilting retreat. It was fabulous. We used Toft Barn to eat together and Chels Barn for our sewing. The arrangement was perfect. 12 of us from all around the country have just come back from a lovely weekend for my daughters hen party.   We stayed at Chels Barn, which had everything we needed, such a beautiful place, plus a hot tub with wonderful views across the countryside.  We had to turn the heating down as the place was so warm.  The only criticism would be the light in the garden which only stayed on a few seconds so had to keep moving around to get it on, an outside light which could be switched on and off would be good.
